    A collection of programs that enables you to store, modify, and extract information from a database. There are many different types of DBMSs, ranging from small systems that run on personal computers to huge systems that run on mainframes. The following are examples of database applications:
    computerized library systems
    automated teller machines
    flight reservation systems
    computerized parts inventory systems

    DBA is a database administrator in a firm. They are professionals who organize information in a meaningful way so it can be easily maintained, retrieved and updated. DBA plays very important job in an organization. A critical duty of the DBA is designing databases for maximal performance, scalability, flexibility, and reliability. He must make sure databases are fast and responsive. The most important job of the DBA is that of availability, backup and recovery of data in an organization. He is also responsible for security management.

        DBA is a database administrator.dba has a very responsibility to do this job.admin has a fully information about the other users.everything like session,cookies etc.DBA is a fully controller.
