Any tips or advice for doing well in MSN?

    Hello!
With all of your help, the site I'm working on is shall I say, kicking *** in google for a few of the keyword phrases I'm tracking. However, in MSN, not doing too hot!
With MSN's wanting to become a big *** in the se world I expect they're going to become very relevant. So, does anybody have any general advice on how to make msn happy or is it a wait and see what happens with their new search technology?

    hello

    Here two tips for you.

    1. keywords placed inside link text are considered important by search engines, because they indicate that your page is genuinely dealing with those keywords by giving more references to them.

    2. keywords placed at the very end of a page are important because it tells the search engine that a page which started out describing a concept such as "search engine optimization" is still talking about it even at the very end.

Putting keywords in a strong paragraph at the beginning, putting keywords in link text, and repeating keywords near the end of a page are not new ideas. This has always been part of good optimization practice, and it also makes good sense in terms of providing solid information for website users.

        1. Keywords in bold.

        2. H1, H2 and H3 headers. These have a fairly large weight.

        3. Keywords in italics (even better when bold as well)

Plenty of backlinks for MSN/Live.com. Altho Live.com is improving there still way behind Google in the terms of search technology, they still record session id's, broken links etc etc.
