First of all if you have new website then you have to start with search engine submission...Then do 300 dir. submission only fast approval directories. Then do the book marking, blog comment, forum participation, social media of you're website on regular base...And I am sure you will get the perfect result with in 2 months...

A I can see that you have newspaper website. You need to target people those who are interested in reading online newspaper. You can do following thing to get good traffic -

1. Create an account on Facebook. Now edit all the important information about the website in your Facebook profile in particular categories.
2. Create Facebook Fan Page and linked it to your website. Do forget to update your fan-page with regular news.
