I had started working on a new site and it got a PR2. Lets see where it'll go from here on...waiting for the next google update

What does PR means when you have it? Or how does it affect website?

PR is a measure of importance of a webpage's importance to Google - simply put it affects your website pages placement in google search result rankings i.e. placement against searched keywords (lower the PR lower the page is in search results)

ya google updated PR, my forum got PR3 from PR0.
