How does the poke war on facebook work?

Your friend pokes you, then it should appear on your home page on the left. It would say the persons name then 'poke back' next to it. All you do is press poke back and then she pokes you back and so on ... the winner is the person who gives up and decides not to poke back. (You poke someone by going on their profile and on the left, under their profile picture, it should say 'poke ____' and just click on it)

A "poke war" on Facebook is essentially a playful interaction where users poke each other back and forth. It's a feature that has been around since the early days of Facebook but has somewhat fallen out of common usage in recent years. Here's how it typically works:
    1. Initiation: One user starts the poke war by poking another user. This can be done by visiting the other user's profile and selecting the "Poke" option, typically located near the "Add Friend" button.
    2. Response: The poked user receives a notification that they've been poked and can choose to poke the other user back in response. This continues back and forth as each user pokes the other.
    3. End: The poke war can continue indefinitely if both users keep poking each other back. However, at any point, either user can choose to stop poking, effectively ending the poke war.

Poke wars are generally seen as a lighthearted and somewhat outdated form of interaction on Facebook. While they were more common in the early days of the platform, many users now use other forms of communication, such as comments, messages, or reactions, to interact with each other.
