Facebook Demonstrates Technology to Beam Internet via Lasers

During a wide-ranging online question-and-answer session on his Facebook page Tuesday, Facebook CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg described the company's plans to use lasers from drones and satellites to provide Internet connectivity under its Internet.org initiative to communities that don't live near existing wireless networks.
