We're pleased to announce the release of version 5.1.0 of vBulletin 5 Connect. This release features the article publishing capability previously available in vBulletin 4 Publishing Suite. This allows you to permission article authors who will be able to write and edit articles, saving drafts over multiple sessions prior to publishing. Author and editor usergroups allow you to create a workflow for the writing and publishing of articles to your site.
vBulletin 4 Suite sites that used the CMS capability will be able to upgrade to vBulletin 5 Connect and easily import their existing articles into the new database structure without a lot of reconfiguration or other work. vBulletin 3 and vBulletin 4 Forum sites can also leverage this capability upon upgrading to the latest version of vBulletin 5 Connect.
Version 5.1.0 also includes many smaller improvements and bug fixes, and we encourage all vBulletin 3 and 4 sites to upgrade to this new version at this time. For the full announcement and discussion, please click here: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/node/4024607
